ABOUT
Based in Limerick City, Stonetown Architects was established in early 2019.
'Stonetown' is an area of townland skirting the north bank of the River Shannon including a portion better known as O'Callaghan Strand.

Given our belief in the importance of place, coupled with our location in this part of the city, we deemed 'Stonetown' a worthy name.
PHILOSOPHY
First and foremost, we are a design-driven practice. Our bespoke architectural proposals are borne out of rigorous analysis of the Client brief as well as being informed by the unique characteristics of the place.

We set out to deliver well detailed, finely crafted and enduring architecture that enhances the everyday life of the occupant.

PROCESS
All of our projects will start off as a rough sketch where we will establish the key 'concept' of the design. The concept is informed by the aforementioned Client brief and the characteristics of the place.
We will continuously refer back to these sketches as the design develops in order to stay true to the original concept.

As well as carefully listening to the needs of the Client, we also carry out regular in-house reviews. The aim of this process is to challenge the design to ensure that its potential is maximised.
