The project, based on the Cork /Waterford border will utilise an existing 1800's vernacular stone barn building as the centrepiece of a new home.

 

The barn building will be sensitively refurbished using best practice building conservation principles.  Contemporary, contrasting extensions taking their form from the existing barn will be added to the northern and southern ends to create a new family home, set around a central courtyard.
