Home Design Consultation (On-site)

Service Description

One of our RIAI Registered architects will meet you at your home or selected property viewing to discuss your brief in-person as well to familiarize ourselves with the house. The initial on-site pre-purchase consultation typically takes between 30 minutes and 1 hour after which time, one of our architects will follow up with a sketch plan aimed at maximizing the potential of your chosen property. (Please note that price shown is inclusive of VAT @ 23%). The on-site consultation will include: - Walking the property and wider site in order to understand the characteristics of the place. - Discussing your brief / expectations for the property. - Discussing the opportunities for refurbishment / adaptability / extension. - Highlighting the associated statutory requirements (Planning Permission / Building Regs etc). - Discussing the potential construction costs. - Working with an Architect. After the viewing has concluded, our follow-up service will then provide you with: - A rough sketch plan indicating the potential for extension / refurbishment (this is provided that an existing plan drawing is available - often the listing documents will have one). - A Consultation Summary sheet, synopsizing our on-site discussion for your records. (Please note that this service is not a pre-purchase survey). (Please note that this service is limited to properties located within a 10km radius of Limerick City Centre.
